RE: Utrum: A Dream project for Crypto-lovers on Komodo Platform for All your research and education purposes and a Truly Decentralized ICO where anybody can participate using Atomic Swaps

That's a great and convincing analysis, mostly about komodo.

About Utrum though, it all sounds nice and all, but something about it smells of 'big talk, but can they deliver?'

Utrum is basically is like a shopping mall or a Swiss knife. The real challenge is getting people to use the platform. Their token slae already has a 5 million USD hardcap and they are already accepting over 50 different currencies for their ICO (Thanks to the tech behind KMD) Delivering on the techncal side wouldn't be that hard. User adoption is the real problem. The only reason I haven't invested yet is that their Alpha is coming on Q4. That's a little too much of a waiting for me. As long as they manage to capture the users and deliver a great UX I think Utrum can deliver. But UX is a little tricky to get and marketting seems to be the Achilles' heel of KMD and Utrum doesn't seem like they have solid people for marketing. But overall I'm positive about the project.

Komodo btw has the best wallet I've ever seen probably! So user friendly. Pop ups pop up exactly when you need them and explain what you should do next or what you've just done or what that thing does. UI is generally excellent. And transacting with their currency is so cheap and fast. So they really care about the user experience; kinda odd and unfortunate that, based on what you say, they're not that good on the marketing side.

They have the highest number of Github commits in during the last 12 months and they have a considerable lead on that too. (Soruce: https://cryptomiso.com) There has been a lot of thought and development gone to the technical side. Even their whitepaper (I've only partially read it) is very comprehensive and well written. Komodo UX isn't a problem. They have had some terrible marketing failures where they announced some of the biggest developments in the entire crypto-space few months ago and the presentation was so bad that the price crashed.

My UX worries were directed at Utrum; not KMD.
