I am a Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Enthusiast who researches and reports updates related to Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology adoption across Africa.

Today's post has to do with Nigeria where her government is the verge of implementing a blockchain hub.

The Government of Nigeria has thought it wise to implement blockchain based solutions in the country which is currently dealing with issues associated to inflation.

Prior to this, the Nigerian government has partnered with KAD ICT Hub located in Kaduna and a UK based blockchain firm, Coinfirm to provide the needed solutions.

It is clear that Nigerians and most citizens of West and South Africa are involved in Cryptocurrencies and other blockchain based projects. Even Google search statistics indicates a high trend of Cryptocurrency searches coming from Nigeria and the number of Nigerians that are currently very active here on Steemit despite the low prices of Steem can serve as a prove how Nigerians are very much interested in Cryptocurrencies. So, there is no doubts that the implementation of this Hub will be welcomed by the citizens.

Furthermore, this blockchain hub will facilitate the creation of Cryptocurrency businesses and start-ups thereby increasing the adoption of the technology in this part of Africa and above all, increase employment.
