Transportation is the movement of humans, animals, and goods from one place to another, this can either be by air, land (rail and road), water, pipeline, and space. Transportation is at the core of human interactions as almost everything we do revolve around movement and change of location of we ourselves or certain assets.

The history of transportation dates back to almost as early as our existence, humans initially used animals such as donkeys, horses, and camels as a means of transportation. As time progressed and technology advanced, humans have found new and better ways to fulfill their transportation needs.

We are currently in the era of human-guided vehicles as a means of transportation. The transportation industry is a very large one that expands into almost every other sector which can be divided into infrastructure, vehicles, and operations.

Transportation is very important in our lives and our businesses and although the current systems works, there is nothing to suggest it couldn't be better. I will be introducing a decentralized transportation solution that is going to revolutionize the transportation industry as we know it by ushering in an era where everyone can contribute and benefit from a better and autonomous transport system.

What is DAV Network

DAV (decentralized autonomous vehicle) Network is a computer network that connects all the actors of the transportation industry together with humans on a single network where they can all interact/communicate and transact. By actors I mean the vehicles, infrastructure, and services/operations however in the case of DAV network the vehicles in question are autonomous I.e self-driving vehicles.

Recent technologies have proven that vehicles like cars, ships, airplanes can drive themselves, although mostly with a degree of human supervision, but with the constant advancement in technology, the invention and tests of fully automated vehicles have shown a lot of success. With the mainstream consumer usage still subject to more tests, tech improvements and some regulations, there is no doubt that the future of transportation lies with fully autonomous/self-driving vehicles.

DAV network will connect autonomous vehicles like cars, trucks, ships and drones to people on the network creating a vast network of individuals and machines. On DAV network people can easily call for a ride and get delivered to their destinations while they pay with DAV tokens.
