The Blockchain Blogger is back and this year promises to be a very interesting year as things are looking pretty good from the start
The recent spike in the price of STEEM and STEEM DOLLARS have gone a long way in elevating the general mood on the Platform
There is also a general good feeling when it comes to the Blockchain currently, a lot of people are reaping the rewards of smart investments they made last year
As we enter the new year these are things you have to keep in mind when building your personal brand on Steemit
Humans, Humans, Humans
Last year saw the Steemit Platform experience an increase in the number of Bots. One of the trending topics last year was buying of Upvotes and renting SP, there was a lot of internal wars as a result and it was very bloody
There have been a great reduction in the level of Human Interaction on Steemit, despite the increasing number of new sign ups. Most people just drop posts and leave. The funny thing is that they also complain of lack of Human interaction while contributing to the problem at the smae time
Bots are good and serve a purpose to an extent but nothing beats Human connection and Interaction
The chief way to build a bog on Steemit has always been post engagement. Going out to read the post of others is a double edged sword, you have an opoortunity to earn with your comments and you also make new friends in the process
Battle Plans
You also need a strategy. I have always emphasized the Importance of having a content strategy. Niches are very Important as it will make it easier for your name to be registered in the minds of people
Niches however does not mean you should be restricted to a particular topic, you can alweays branch out from time to time
An effective content strategy will go a long way in helping you reach your blog goals. It will alos lend a certain level of authority to your voice on this platform. Authority is important as it shows you are committed to your blog and not here in passing
Emphaty is also inportant as it enables you to put yourself in the shoes of your reader. You want to know what they feel and think, this will enable your content delievery and value to be at a high peak
You also have to create entertaining content, no one wants to read boring stuff, school have given us enough of that. Tell stories that will make readers happy, whether personal or borrowed

Very beautiful tips... It is my first week on steemit and i have enjoyed every second i have spent here. About creating or having a niche, i've always felt that it will be a very tough ask since my head is messed up with so many ideas but getting to read this

Thanks for these tips. Indeed, nothing can replace human communication. and to be successful here, we first have to find friends and associates. To make quality content and stick to their own style. And do not take up a variety of fashion topics in the pursuit of large coins.
