There are over 1,000 music festivals around the world every year. Every time a new ticket sale opens up for a concert or music festival, most of these get sold out within the hour. So take for example festivals like Tomorrowland which sell out in less than an hour. In 2016, 2017 and 2018, Tomorrowland was sold out in 38 minutes each year on an average.
And this leaves behind many festival enthusiasts who have to resort to the secondary ticket marketing platforms (whose names shall not be said, but can be found). These enthusiasts end up paying higher than normal fees and exaggerated transaction & processing fees.
