Metal and vocaloid cover song of Mordred's Song, issued from Imaginations from the other side (1995 album) by Blind Guardian.

My second metal cover, and finally my favourite band.
Blind Guardian has a lot of different heavy/speed song, and also some delicious one with acoustic instruments within it.

One of my favourite from the band, telling the point of view of Mordred, illegitimate King Arthur & Morgana (half-sister) son.

Evil seed, born to be king.
Merlin prophesies that this illegitimate child would kill his father (Oedipus template again !).
Fate overcame Arthur attempt to take away his son, and he would finally kill his father for the throne.
Arthur managed to deadly wound him, and then, the legend ends.

My personal touch in this song were some mandolin in the beginning, a different guitar arpeggio, and using Vocaloid Gumi for the vocal part.
I can't get near Hansi Kürsch voice by myself and no one could on this kind of song.
André Olbrich guitar solo were tough one !
It's about 95% the same as in the original one.
