Fun with metaballs - not to confuse with meatballs! (Blender)

Metaballs are very overlooked feature in the Blender
Similar situation to Grease pencil.
However, Metaballs have great potential and can be irreplaceable for certain applications.
They can be used for basic simulations of fluids as in the attached example.
Or if you want to quickly get some interesting organic shape, even the silhouette of a human or animal. I honestly do not know the whole potential hidden in Metaballs, but I'm going to take a closer look at them.
