After 1 hour for example GBPUSD rose as much as 10 points from 1.45510 to 1.45520. This means that the current value of 1 GBP = 1.45520 USD
If you sell 100,000 GBP you have it, then the money you receive as much as 1.45520 X 100.000 = 145.520 USD
Pay attention ..! Your initial capital is 145,510, your final capital is 145,520 means you profit 10 USD
Again, with the price changing 10 points, your profit is 10 USD. This means the value of 1 point if the transaction of 100,000 units (1 lot) it = $ 1
