That is one great photo there! All the lines are very well balanced with cropping. Tones are in harmony too. It's something really attractive in patterns for human eye. Really like this one!

I have always been great friend of all minimalist and non performing photography. It can be so much fun challenge yourself to try to break the box of your thinking. Fx. my personal trick to get inspiration: Try to use some tool the way no one else ever did. Try to use it totally "wrong" and see where it leads the inspiration. Most of photos are taken in mean to express something. Camera was developed to stop and save time. Mostly that means events or subjects. Now that attitude affects us when we think about ways of using camera. I have simple exercise for all the friends of abstract and non-conseptual photography. This came to my mind one day when I personally realised that camera, for me, is nothing else than one method of graphics. Photos does not necessarily need to represent anything as we are used to think. Graphics are free arts in any meaning, but photography is tied to show only things exist.

Here is my method: Try to capture 10 totally different photos, with different ideas, that looks like no photos at all. If it is difficult, think about it, why it is difficult. What makes photos look like photos. If it is quality, go back to basics. Get film camera, go into darkroom, think about light. Make mistakes and mess. Master the process. Real abstraction and uniqueness comes from dust and all that error. It's all the moving conditions and dirty developing processes that really make the final product. And there as part of that process we might be little closer of true freedom of abstraction. More we go to way where we just need to press button and everything happens itself, more everything will look and feel same. Perfection is imperfection.
