History in the united states has show that black women have gotten the short end of the stick. From being abused as slaves. Discriminated against after being set free. Then double discriminated for their gender. It's a burden they did not ask for but carry.

But to get that disrespect from their own black men feels like a slap in the face to them. And that is just what happens. The men come at them with a level of disrespect and disdain. For every brother who does come correct and treat them like royalty there are four who come behind him and tears her down.
