BITTREX BLOCKS ACCOUNTS
More than 2 months thousands of people struggle with Bittrex. The reason is blocked accs in many countries and in Russia as well.
The support didnt give any proper explanation just a letter "need to check docs, wait".
We all thought it would be just for some days, because they need time to check but 2 months..
People were in shock and panic, all accs have much money and people worry they will never see it again.
The struggle began in many spheres - mass-media, web, telegramm, twitter..
Some days ago there were first results - some assc were enabled. But still too many of them are blocked.
Hope it will be ok and people will get their money back(

we have a definite telegram channel now, a special topic in bitconitalk where we watch the situatin how many people are blocked and unblocked, mostly from Russia... hope it will be solved soon( i am waiting with my money blocked for 2 months(

I think it is frightening when this sort of thing happens. One can't help feeling a scam is in the air. Someone like me, deciding which crypto-currency to buy, will do well to avoid the Bittrex. I also think it is ludricrous to take 2 months to resolve their issues.
I love Bittrex (so far!) because they are way better than others I have tried. They also give the best deals, have a great interface and have all the currencies you want in one place.
But yes, this news is scary for me too. :(

Yes, it's scary. Sorry, you and many others went through this misfortune. :(
But POSSIBLY they are being bad only to those who are not fully verified.
They also issue a warning that they will block those who game the system like pumping in certain cryptocurrencies, maybe as a group and then dumping after a few days, but again that's what most daily traders do to earn money
they wrote Basic verification is ok for output of money 1 BTC a day, it's enough for me and they did NOT demand anything else and it worked ok and suddenly....
they lose many clients and profit now, many people are afraid and went away
Yes, they say that to everybody. I had the next level through phone verification but submitted my documents and two factor identification, which is the highest level. But interestingly my documents got rejected first because the software could not see my photo clearly. I emailed them and they responded within a day, submitted again and it went through.
if they say it's obligatiry I would do it as well, they should say it if they were going to block people.

yes, true. I registered with HItBTC but they did not ask for anything - just my email for the basic account. And they take a long time for the verification - not automated like Bittrex. So, I did not submit anything. I haven't traded with them yet.
