I think it will raise interest in the #bitshares platform, if you think about it the raison d'être for #bitsquare to exist is trading decentralized (like #bitshares), but imo with heavy gearing towards fiat<->crypto.

I think we can carve a nice niche there, for those who want to keep a USD/CNY/... balance, but not necessarily in a bank account.

It would be less relevant if we had functioning BTC<->BitBTC gateways in my opinion, but the situation being what it is, I believe and hope that both projects will benefit from this addition.
