Bitspark Zephyr Update #2

Welcome to the second update in our Zephyr series. The idea behind this is a short snapshot of some the current developments this fortnight to give you an idea on the progress being made at Bitspark towards Project Zephyr. We will try to keep this on a fortnightly cadence. Todays update will mostly be related to our technical development but also can include business related developments too, some developments are private and wont be noted and we may change the formatting of these updates as time goes on.
Technical:
Zephyr landing page improvements, new banner designs and metrics
20+ backend administration fixes and improvements
A number of fixes related to front end changes to JS and calculation logic for Bitspark remits
Memory and calculation fixes backed
Added validation for bitcoin address format on withdraw
Bank deposits now auto expire if not cancelled.
Many other smaller bugfixes
Business
New job role ads now live for Bitspark sales and marketing team in Hong Kong
Ongoing business developments with MTOs and money transfer businesses in APAC
Bitspark will be at IMTC in November making some important announcements.

Just wanted to ask if there was any update you could give on the progress of migrating from the Bitcoin blockchain to Bitshares? Or is this something that will start more toward the end of the year?

Work is underway on migration but it will be a 12 month process, liquidity is not there right now on the DEX so its a gradual process of bringing more and more transactions onto Bitshares. Gradually increasing the amount of reserves held in bitshares pegged cryptos that can be convertible to BTC or another crypto at a moments notice to ensure we can keep instant settlement for our customers and no risk of exchange rate shenanigans.
