Bitshares has tech that is stunning but not the stunning bank account that eth has. It has been so starved of funding because of centralized exchanges holding and proxying to "anti-dilution proxies" that developers are never paid...and so do it mostly out of pure love and belief in the project (for good reason).
For that reason it is hard to find anywhere near the documentation that eth has. But if you pay attention to the beyond bitcoi hangouts most projects tha start in bts eventually find their way there.
