There is this ingenious part of Bitshares that might be undervalued quite a bit. It is things like bitEuro, bitUSD and so on, that can be found at the Bitshares Decentralized Exchange {DEX}. Not limited to that, there is also things like bitSilver and bitGold. Yet, in this post I want to keep the focus on Smart bitMoney {SBM}. Still tinkering a bit with what the best name would be for Blockchain Valuta, but I'll keep it at SBM for the time being. But why are those bitUSD, bitEuro and bitCNY already fit for real life payments? The answer is actually quite simple.

Because they have the same value as their Debt bankersMoney {DBM} counterpart they are pegged to. Now, I'll leave the complex technical part where it should be, at the Bitshares blockchain. The real life usage though is that it is worth what it states. So if you are lucky enough to be able to buy a cup of coffee still for 1 Euro, somewhere, then you could pay with 1 bitEuro. You could exchange some Bitshares assets to bitUSD, if you like, on the Decentralized Exchange {DEX}, for instance. Where you would send some to your smart phone and maybe pay some dinner with it.

The Smart bitMoney wallet

Yes, there is a very good one available, developed by Bitshares-Munich, and it is called Smartcoins wallet. Just install it from the App store (for Android, click here) and you can use it for receiving and sending all kinds of Bitshares types of Smart bitMoney. Meaning also the pegged ones like: bitUSD and bitEuro.

The really smart real life use being that is has that value. At this point Bitshares is a bit ahead of Steem, because we currently only have Steem Backed Dollar at this platform.
