Very quick information of a committee role...
Decentralized Committee: Decisions that can effect the BitShares ecosystem are made using a on-chain committee voted upon by shareholders. Hence, no single entity can change the deal retroactively.
Oh dang, I just saw your awesome reply! I was going to come this year but i thought the conference in Athens was voted down. Cypress looks very appealing...hopefully you and Maria can go to that one?
