I'm a long term holder of bitdshares but there is still no way to sell the platform to the mainstream.

DEX is hard to use, not enough liquid and very confusing for the new user. It doesn't retain new converts as a result. It's niche at the best.

I'd love bitshares to rocket to $1 but it's just not going to happen anytime soon. Dan L is embedded in Steem so we can't expect his input not now, or any time soon.

ETH has much more exciting projects within it's ecosystem and that gets me more excited and I don't even hold any ETH or ETC.

Not hating on it, just being realistic.
