How to turn 40 cents into $1.40 using Bitshares.

in #bitshares6 years ago (edited)

Here's a little known secret within the world of cryptocurrency....Arise bank, which just happened to purchase 2 banks with cryptocurrency (announced officially yesterday) is having their ICO and that is scheduled to go until January 27th or they raise $1B worth of cryptocurrency.

If you want to participate in their ICO, you can do so by following the link in the upper right of their webpage seen here:
https://www.arisebank.com/

Once you're there you'll see that they only list payment options as being in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge, Litecoin, or Nem and if you pay in those tokens you will be paying the equivalent of $1.40 of each of those respective cryptocurrency values.

However, if you pay via Bitshares from a Bitshares wallet, you can get 1 Arise token for every 1 Bitshare, which is currently trading for around .40 as of the time of this writing on the Bitshares decentralized exchange. The 1:1 Bitshares:Arisecoin offer ends on January 26th, 2017.

Here's how to take part if you want to do this.

Step 1) Set up an arisebank wallet by following the instructions seen in the ICO section of https://www.arisebank.com/ (You will need to create a username and password by providing an email address) Note: this is merely a temporary placeholder until the actual ACO tokens are issued after the ICO.

Step 2) Set up a bitshares wallet via wallet.bitshares.org

Step 3) Convert your Bitcoin into bitshares on the exchange.

Step 4) Send your bitshares to arisebank-ico via the send option in your bitshares wallet. In the "Memo" section that you see in the "send" section of your bitshares wallet, make sure you include the following statement: "For ICO, from the (username you registered from step 1), and referred by dr-steemit.

Step 5) If you then become an active participant on the Arisebank telegram (@arisebank)and tell them Dr-Steemit sent you, you might get a little boost to your order too. PM @EvgeniGrinberg for all payments or Issues.

This is the peoples revolution, folks. We either create financial freedom by creating a system of fairness and privacy, or the bankers are going to make sure they completely enslave us with their own version of digital currency that only they control.

Great tip, thanks. Do you have link for Arisebank on Telegram?

Great to see more initiative! Keep up the good work! Followed and upvoted!

Cheers,

Luci

Per their Telegram channel, they have extended the date of the ICO (currently undefined when it ends). The BTS:ARISE pegging will end on the 26th I believe.

even more concerning ... is the hints in these articles that central members in the PIVX + BTS communities may be involved in suppressing warnings about this being a scam .....

Looks like you were right all along. I'm glad I didn't get in:
