Philippines

One of the fastest growing economy in South East Asia. Home to 106,512,074 Filipinos. With a gdp growth of 6.9 percent annually, Philippines is one of the top gems for marketing and investing.

Blockchain isn't new to most of the Filipinos, some of them are now here on Steemit. There are also Filipinos engaging in cryptocurrency investment.

Why Bitcoin is dominating

My previous team leader once told me that he is investing in Bitcoin. Every cut off, he invest 2000 php(40 usd) in Bitcoin.

Even my brother is investing in Bitcoin. He tried to invest 1000 php(20 usd) in Bitcoin, hoping that it will grow someday.

I believe that this is happening all across the globe. The lack of advertisement and information makes the Bitcoin the top player in cryptocurrency. There is media reporting about Bitcoin, magazines and even billboards from sites selling Bitcoin.

Introducing Bitshares to the Filipinos

Most of investors doesn't care about technology, speed and security. "Every blockchain is capable of handling security, transactions and development through time". Why invest in something that is slow moving in terms of price?

It's difficult to introduce Bitshares here. I will list the reasons why it is difficult.

  • Filipinos gateway to Bitshares is bitcoin.
As I stated earlier, Bitcoin is growing faster than Bitshares. Why invest in something that is slow moving in terms of price? But there's a way to achieve this. If we mandate people here in the Philippines that will introduce Bitshares and shows chart in terms of speed, transaction fee and converting them it into fiat currency, people that will guide them step-by-step.

  • Introducing something that is illogical valueless to them.
Telling someone to risk their hard earn money to bits and data is difficult.

Most questions they will ask.

  1. That is just a data, why will I invest that something written in computer? I can't even hold it.

  2. Everyone can make money out of software now? Even I can do that.

  3. How will I earn money in that? Selling physical items is much better than investing in computer data.

It's difficult to introduce cryptocurrency to people with no knowledge about it. But if I can show them I can earn in cryptocurrency. Inviting people will be easy.

  • Filipinos trust investment if it's making money.
The problem here is how can make them stay in the platform for a long period of time? Showing them the roadmap and the growth is an effective way of telling them to invest and leave their money for a year and they will sure to earn.

Offering my services to Bitshares

As much as I want to support Bitshares, I want Bitshares to be the the number one Blockchain here in the Philippines. But I alone can't do it. Even at the cost of my expenses without the proper support from Bitshares I can't make this happen.

I want to build a team that will guide every Filipinos step-by-step on how to invest in Bitshares. But without proper funds I can't do this. Even I don't have a huge amount of Bitshares in my wallet to prove them how much I can earn from Bitshares.

This are my simple steps in guiding Filipinos in how to invest in Bitshares.

  1. Create a Coins.ph account.

  2. Deposit money

  3. Convert to Bitcoin

  4. Create a Bitshares Wallet

  5. Buy Bitshares with Bitcoin using Blocktrades

To the Bitshares Network,

Support me on this project and I will make sure to invite more people in the Bitshares Network. If I/we manage to grow. We will make sure Bitshares Network to be the number one Blockchain here in the Philippines.

I am currently accepting donations. If you have some Bitshares spare in your wallet you can send them to my Bitshares Wallet: doc-mac18. For steemit SBD and STEEM you can send them directly on this account. Thank you!

I guess 1 factor that hinders them is the fact that filipinos are not into investing as of now only 1% of filipino population are into investment. The lack of financial education is one BIG reason. So sad but true.🤢

That is ultimately true and if ever did they engage in crypto investment, chances of hearing Bitshares from others is zero.

Hi ate thanks for sharing your valuable insight about bts. I think it has a lot of potential. Will be following you sis i hope you can share more information about bitshares :)

Thank you @ankarlie. I will be conducting a convention next week in Kings ville heights subd.
in Antipolo City. This includes information about Bitshares and Steemit. Supposedly the project is supposed to be conduct yesterday. Unfortunately, due to my bad health condition I had to cancel the convention in Antipolo Padilla Market.

Wow that is a great initiative would love to attend if time permits and my boyfriends permits hehe anyway hope you get well soon ate and I love your initiative. I will support you on that. You mught want to check this one ate you might be interested ate you might want to check this out ---> @steemsugars

this is good, as filipino I wish there are other alternative wallet to coins.ph that will accept other cryptos like steem. a low price fee can attract more people to invest if it happens.

Yes I think bitspark.io is looking into that. But for now I think the available options for Bitspark.io is withdrawing money using Bitshares in their following update. openledger on the other will soon open options for paypal I think?

i definitely understand your concern.

"Telling someone to risk their hard earn money to bits and data is difficult."

i also have a hard time convincing some of my friends and loved ones regarding investing on cryptos. especially on something that is not tangible and has a lot to do with technology. i totally feel you. hehe but no doubt, slowly but surely cryptos are definitely being fed into the people's consciousness right now and getting into the mainstream. it's only a matter of time i think. but yeah still, a lot of marketing and effort has to be done to make people be more aware of cryptos and change their thinking that its not a scam or a hassle to deal and invest in. im a filipino too by the way! mabuhay @docmastery! :)

For families and relatives, it's easy to invite them since they know me and they do know that I manage to earn in my previous bitshares holdings. But the problem is for those who doesn't even know me. Trusting our hard earn money especially here in the Philippines is quite difficult.

Filipinos powerrrrr !!! Come let's do it...
Toma que toma que dale arsa y toma...
