**Please Vote for the *DEXBot WP -Liquidity for the DEX* BitShares Worker Proposal**

Over the last year, we have made a BitShares Trading Bot to bring more Liquidity to the BitShares Decentralized Exchange. As our first worker proposal comes to an end, we are introducing a new worker to continue the effort.

All BitShares account holders, including those who have accounts at OpenLedger, Crypto-Bridge, RuDEX, GDEX and other portals onto the BitShares blockchain can vote for the proposal. Each BitShare (BTS) held in the account is one vote, and when enough votes are cast, (272 million in this case) the worker proposal becomes active!

The follow screen shots will walk you through the process of casting a vote on the BitShares.org website. The voting process is essentially the same at the RuDex website. At the end I will show a voting screen from OpenLedger.io which has a different menu system. Voting is not supported on Crypto-Bridge.org or Gdex, so you would be advised to you BitShares.org.

Go to BitShares.org

Then go the the menu and select About>Native dApps>BitShares Dex

This will bring you to...

From here you need to go into the upper right hand corner and Log In.

(This is assuming you are using a cloud wallet model. )

Then click on the MENU button, (It is the three blue bars of the far right...ie hamburger menu...)

And select VOTING from the menu.

You can vote for various things.. Witnesses, Committee and Workers.

Select Workers.

The system sorts the workers by PROPOSED, ACTIVE and EXPIRED.

Click PROPOSED.

You can now see the full list of proposed workers. Select those you wish to vote for with the the toggle button.

Then go up and press SAVE (in the upper right hand corner)

This will then publish your vote onto the blockchain, creating a secure and transparent vote for the proposal.

Alternatively, you can set a proxy. This allows you to mirror the account of someone you trust. It is a great way to give support without having to stay up on all the issues.

Put in the name of whatever proxy you wish to follow. There are lots of good proxies out there. Kimchi-king has been active on our worker proposal.

You can proxy any account. So for example, Market Makers that use the DEXBot need to run each bot in a separate account (this keeps strategies and money management separate) all of those accounts can proxy the traders main trading account. -Edit- This this proxy voting only works one level on BTS now, discussions have been ongoing.

When you save your Changes you will get a confirmation box that looks like this..

Now on OpenLedger the voting process is similar...

We do have an old/dead proposal on chain so make sure you vote for the "BEXBot WP2-Liquidity for the DEX".

That really is all there is to to voting for a proposal on the BitShares BlockChain. These directions can be followed to vote for any worker proposal.

BitShares has a unique form of decentralized government. The community elects various people, proposals and projects and then a group is selected to execute on that vision. Most worker proposals move through the BitShares BlockChain Foundation, but not all do. This is one of the truly independent Worker Proposal. Don't get me wrong, we know, work with and have a common mission with all the other people active in the BitShares community. We work closely with proxies, portals, market makers, and developers through multiple channels. The Cabinet, which is behind this proposal, is a group of 6 active BitShares enthusiasts. We work with the Project Manager to make sure things get done. We work out the details so others do not need to. Thanks for taking part in this blockchain project.
