Bitshares achievement: 1 Millionth Bitshares transaction!
I've created more than 1 million TX on the BTS DEX!
I've produced over one million Hertz price feed updates since its launch back in March this year. The fees are very low for the price feed update operation and LTM status further reduces cost of operation.
I've increased the rate at which I publish Hertz price feeds from 6 seconds to 1.5-2 seconds (need to fine tune for inclusion in every block). At the current rate that's approx 43200 TX on the BTS DEX per day.
On other cryptocurrency platforms, this would be a far more expensive and slower process.
How many TX are you creating each day?
why not set your pricefeed script to susbscribe to block updates and publish feed on that callback ....assuming acceptable latency you should have inclusion on every block
I was thinking about that last night, possible!
Though, this would require constant connection to a full node & my script currently only switches nodes when it encounters failures - I'd need to use a latency monitoring script to subscribe within acceptable latency ranges. Good idea though!
