"Bitcoin investment" 30, found dead
Police are investigating a 30-year-old man who has lost his life by pondering a virtual currency investment failure.
SEOUL, South Korea (AFP) - A police officer was found dead in a residential building at 2 pm on March 21, police said.
Based on the acquaintances' statements, the police are investigating that Mr. A broke his life for failing to invest in bitcoin.
"A seems to have made an extreme choice recently because A is investing in a virtual currency bit coin and looking for loss of principal," said A's associates. A suicide note was not found.
Police filed a seizure search warrant against A's account to see if Mr. A invested in the actual coin, what amount of money he had invested, and what amount was lost.
