Bithumb tackles online payments

In a quest for evolution and a spirit of conquest, the Bithumb and Binance crypto-bourses have just announced their new online payment project in partnership with Qoo10, a large online market in Asia.

The object of the agreement is based on the ability to pay, or rather to buy products on the big market of Qoo10 with Bithumb cryptocurrency, as an alternative to online payment solutions (Payco, Paypal) .

The privileged Koreans

In his announcement, Bithumb mentioned that the service was only available to Koreans including those living abroad, and furthermore, foreigners living in Korea will also not be able to enjoy it.

This paradoxical filter has not been explained by the company while Qoo10 is currently displayed as the No. 1 electronic shopping center in Singapore and has a large market share in Asia (Hong Kong, China, Indonesia).

On the other hand, the currency used for the online shopping service will be the KRW via a conversion process with BTC and ETH into Bithumb Cash.
