Furthermore, the gamers started playing games online so as to connect with one another in the game world.
FREE-TO-PLAY GAMES AND THEIR DISADVANTAGES
Soon free-to-play games were invented where games are played without initial purchase or monthly subscriptions. In other, for developers to monetize their games, they set up gaming stores in the games where gamers will purchase special power-up, strength and equipment for their favourite characters.
Free-to-play games have been regarded as a success in the gaming world, as they are based on the fact that majority of their players will spend nothing (Zero money) in playing the game. Most of these games sell special powers and attributes which make them Pay-to-win games. They are called this because the more money a player spends on buying character superpowers and attributes, the more likely they are to win.
Although the games are referred to as free-to-play games, the users keep buying special powers and soon the bills become unbearable for the keep up with.

BitGuild game is a virtual game built on the blockchain where the users create their own unique players and avatars, also they mine and craft on the game in other to get unique items which are left to the users to either use or sell or trade them. BitGuild is a blockchain community where gamers can interact and communicate thereby becoming their second life and nation.

unlike other gaming platforms that are highly restricted, this one “puts power back into gamers’ hands and even the most successful players may find themselves being able to experience a financial return on their investment. While the game is certainly meant to be entertaining, the platform does admit that one of the main issues is that “it remains difficult to see how it will perform over the long term.” That is to say – it is up to those interested to tap into the platform and to find out how it works.
