BitConnect "404 Not Found" error message via their website. If it's gone... should we forgive Trevon James?

in #bitconnect7 years ago (edited)

Trevon James, CrpytoNick, and Craig Grant were obviously distancing themselves from BitConnect over these past weeks, as if somebody told them that the powers that be over at BitConnect were about to exit scam.

Now today, after hours of the website being down, this message has appeared on their website when you try to navigate over to it:

With that being said, it is no secret that Trevon James, who has recently fled to the safety of Steemit has made all of his fortune off of the backs of the people he got to sign up under him as referrals via BitConnect.

In fact, most if not all of the money he just recently poured into Steem was from the affiliate program on BitConnect, so it's scam money in a sense, because if BitConnect is truly down now... all of those (idiotic one could argue) people have just lost a ton of money.

Some of them, maybe even way more than they could afford to lose to be straight.

Anyway, am I saying they aren't to be blamed here either, no, but you know how gullible some folks can be, and it's safe to say, that Trevon was in fact smart enough to know exactly what he was getting those people tangled up in.

I don't know, am I blowing this out of proportion?

Maybe I am, but I can assure you, that there will be some kind of repercussions for his actions, and for all those others who promoted the platform.

Lawsuits, and more I can assure you.

Anywho, what are your thoughts on the matter, should we allow Trevon James to run from all the bad he has done in his past, and to seek refuge over here on Steemit, or should we show him that we don't take too kindly to swindlers over here on our beloved Steemit?
