Hey Steemians! Been a while since I posted, been really busy over the past couple of days! The markets have been down with FUD all over the place. Holding onto all my current positions, just making a few moves from Altcoins to Bitcoin. Let me know if you are curious to why I am doing so!
BitConnect has decided to end their Lending service. I will leave a link at the end of the post so you can take a look at it yourself. I have personally lent and have seen really good returns over the past couple of months. It is sad to see such a great platform come to an end.
BitConnect seems to be stating that they are going to be releasing all active loans in the lending wallets to the user's BitcConnect wallet at $363.62. They further stated they will be closing the BCC exchange platform in 5 days.
The reasons for the halt include :
- Bad press which has made community members uneasy and created a lack of confidence.
- Cease and Desist letters
- DDos attacks
They further stated that the BitConnect X Initial Coin Offering is still functional.
