The most loved, and hated lending platform in the cryptocurrency world. Bitconnect is finding itself under a major DDoS attack which have lasted for more than 39 Hours. 

While the investors are holding their breath and hoping that, the platform will survive. The naysayers and the biggest critics are holding their fingers crossed for the system to crash. So they can say: "I told you so" 

It was first reported publicly by Bitconnect official Twitter page. That they were having some Server Issues.

The Bitconnect coin has taken some beating of the last week,  according to coinmarketcap.com  . Seven days ago the 7th of January 2018, the bitconnect coin was trading at $449 with a market cap of  $2.7B  Today 14th of January, The coin is trading at $288.22 with a market cap of $1.8B 

Down 9.25% Since news of the attack, and 36% overall the last 7 days.

If Bitconnect is able to survive the attack with all the investors funds intact. The confidence in the system will rise and I can  see the bitconnect coin rising back to $450 pretty fast.
