I QUIT BITCONNECT!
From today on I won't promote Bitconnect any further. If their debit card is going to be a success or if they add more use cases somehow for their coin I will reconsider. Let me know how you feel about this. Don't worry I can take it.
I'm not a gambler and I never would invest in such things like bitconnect. I invest only in things I understand.
Hi @foodnature I have invested in bitconnect and have been very much happy with my profits from it. I never had to promote it. People who joined under my referral link are those who saw what i was doing and wanted to get into the action and under their own volition. I don't have the luxury of time and expertise to analyze how they get the money to pay off the lending investors. Yes it is risky because you don't know where the money is coming from. I only invest money that i am willing to lose. If it turns out to be scam then sorry for me. The operative term their is "IF." In my experience this so called "scam" has not scammed anyone yet since risk takers like me that has invested is still receiving and withdrawing their profit. It is free market and I choose where my money goes. Some may argue that the way they present their investment program make it seem a guaranteed and sustainable program and tend to lure in unsuspecting newbies and that's what "scammy" about it. Since no one is really sure what is the inner workings of bitconnect and how they operate the only thing people can do is speculate. If their speculation is negative or positive it does not matter because it all depends on how people choose themselves. Haters will always hate, they even say that people who invest in this so called "scam" are "stupid." Which reminds me of James Dimon who said people who invest in Bitcoin are "stupid. " They can do as they wish because quite frankly who cares. As far as I know these people to do not help me put food on the table.
I have never really looked into BitConnect but all I hear from it is outrageous schemes and scams from the entire crypto population.

Yeah me too. But can anyone please step forward who actually been scammed by bitconnect? Anyone? None. I thought so.
But looking at statistics, what will it be worth when every whale dumps it? It promises unreasonable awards
The same can be said with other coins. That is an hypothetical question. the thing is a lot of people talking bad about it because they don't know the inner workings of Bitconnect. All are pure speculation. They hate it so much because they can't explain how it works. Is it sustainable? i don't know maybe the people of Bitconnect knows something we all don't know. I am speculating here. Is it a gamble of course it is. Is it risky yes it is. Would i listen to all those who bash Bitconnect of course it is always good to have two sides of the story but ultimately i decide because it is my money and my choice.
Yeah that makes sense, but like I said the returns are unrealistic. You deposit 10,000 and in 5 years you get 5 trillion dollars (which is apples net worth) and all you did was wait 5 years. I just don't see it as a realistic concept and isn't a long term possibility.
They do not guarantee to keep the daily interest on loans. They also do not guarantee or promise what the rate will be each day because it is a variable rate. People need to read their documents before speaking and clearly Vitalik did not read the docs.
If they guarantee nothing, and can cancel any of their programs, it is sustainable just by that.
I guess you are right. That is indeed unrealistic. But that is a risk I am willing to take.
