Finally decided to give in and invest in the all mighty BitConnect. Heard a lot about it in the media and was a bit skeptical at first with the associations of it being a scam etc... so started with a low investment of just $110. With the unrealistic returns when lending high volumes and unbelievable profits it's a little too good to be true, and usually as the saying goes if it's too good to be true, it most likely is. However, Life's too short and considering the massive potential in cryptocurrency, taking risks is the only way forward, so bring it on!

BitConnect reminds me of the HYIP (High yield investment programs) from 20 years ago. The offered high yields and dissappeared 6-12 months after their initial start. My best advice to you is if they last long enough to get your principal back in 299 days, then take the principal out and put into something like steem where they have the potential to take on Facebook. If this happens you could see steem challenging bitcoin for crypto-currency dominance.
In the future remember this, "The penalty of risk, is probable loss"! The higher the risk, the greater the chance for loss.
Anytime a program is offering 20-30% Return On Investment (ROI) per month should be a red flag for all concerned.

Appreciate your feedback, and you makes a lot of sense. I have invested about 10% portfolio in Steem as it goes just did this as an offset investment hence the low(ish) stake. I have high hopes for steem!
