Bank Revolut Adds XRP and Bitcoin Cash to Support the Adoption of Cryptocurrencies

Last December, Revolut launched a product that allowed its more than 1.8 million users to buy, hold and sell crypto-currencies instantly within the app. After Bitcoin, Ether and Litecoin, it is now the XRP and Bitcoin Cash that expand the list of crypto-currencies available on Revolut Crypto.

Revolut users can instantly exchange 25 currencies directly into cryptocurrencies, which can then be stored or resold within seconds within the application . Users can also set price alerts to be notified when the chosen cryptocurrency reaches a certain level.

Last month, Revolut also launched a savings product called Vaults, rounding up all its card payments and storing the remaining small currency in a safe of the currency of its choice, including cryptocurrencies. Since then, more than 50,000 users have chosen to create crypto safes.

The addition of XRP and Bitcoin Cash comes as a result of very strong demand from the Revolut community, and the fact that they are not yet available on some of the major crypto trading platforms. Since the launch of Revolut Crypto last December, about 20% of our community has unlocked the feature (400,000 users) for 100,000 crypto transactions made daily.
