The sky is falling
Is it me or does any one else notice most of the media reporting on bitcoin is the bubble has popped, failing to mention that it's already gained back more than half the down turn? I don't own any bitcoin but I believe bitcoin or crypto currency is here to stay. I can imagine a day when bitcoin is less volatile then precious metals are now. By the way, bitcoin has gone up another $ 700 since I started writing this. Is bitcoin volatile? hell yea. Will bitcoin experience a pull back from these current highs? I think probably. Remember A few years back bitcoin hit $ 1200 briefly and fell back hard. there were people saying it was it was over for bitcoin; look where we are now. Money is made and lost with this volatility; be careful risk = profit or loss. I believe in bitcoin, crypto currency and the blockchain. I'm new here at steemit and plan to keep on steemin'. 
There is too much panic in media, price drop is only good opportunity for investors, I'm sure, it's not the end of rising prices for BTC.
They're actively trying to make it crash by causing panic. They don't want it to succeed, so they look for anything to cause panic and make it worse. If it weren't for the dozen or so main-stream media outlets reporting that the bubble is popping, it probably wouldn't have dipped so hard. Also, Ethereum and Litecoin are almost back to their ath already. cryptocurrencies are here to stay, and they're going to drag the main-stream kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
Yes, they write about it like its the end of bitcoin already. However who is in the market for a while knows that its volatile and normally recovers pretty fast. And so did it the last days. So likely we shall not complaint about the help of the media as they are generating nice discounts for us ;)
