Cryptopia Limited is based in Christchurch. The company lists two directors on its corporate registry, including Adam Clark and Robert Dawson. Cryptopia was registered in July 2014.

Calling Cryptopia “just” a cryptocurrency exchange is a bit misleading. It’s an all-in-one cryptocurrency platform that wants to enhance the useful of cryptocurrencies. . Cryptopia has a marketplace, a lottery system, a rewards program, and an extensive information section.
I started with 500 doge, and now I have 0.07 btc from tips,giveaways,trivia games in trollbox and trading.

I thought in hindsight that "Cryptopia" would have been a great "Steemit" name.
Too late.
I searched for Cryptopia related posts on steemit. I found this one.
I´m waiting for now over 3 days to transfer my 5000 BITB.
They were sent on sunday afternoon from my wallet to cryptopia. And still nothing there...
Several thousand confirmations later...
Started a bit of research and found a lot of complaints of other users.
From beeing VERY slow up to a rude support or just no support at all...
