Bitcoin for Brand-Newbies - Part 2

in #bitcoin9 years ago (edited)

A couple weeks ago I published a video for people brand new to digital-currency and a 12-step program to take them through the set-up phase and proceed with their first buy. (I will link the video somewhere in this post).

This is a 1-month example of exactly where you stand had you gotten into this market 1-month ago with exactly $1,000....

Bitcoin is up +$1,462.27 from exactly this time last month (10:20am July 12, 2017)

That's a 62.18% increase in the value of 1 Bitcoin.

So - if you had bought in at exactly this time last month with $1,000, you have increased your holdings by a little over 62%.

Today your balance would be exactly $1,621.80.

So your initial concern and focus (until you're more comfortable with the market) should be on 1)- the time and amount when you made that purchase and 2)- the percentage of increase since that time.

The example at $100 would be: a balance of $162.18
The example at $10,000 would be: a balance of $16,218.00
The example at $1-million dollars would be: a balance of $1,621,800.00

*If you bought in at several different times then you would have to note the dates of each buy and the percentage of increase since those times.

*It's important to note that it's been an incredible month and this may-not be typical. Sometimes you will lose money, sometimes you will break even. The market IS volatile.

*It's also important to note that many people see these reports and feel that they're too late. /// When Bitcoin was valued at $2-dollars, millions of people said they were too late and had missed the boat. You didn't miss any, damn boat and all of this is in its infancy.

Here is the video of part 1 for Brand Newbies. (Sorry about the coughing. It's my morning smoker's-ritual and I'm working to make the videos on a much-more professional level).
