That apology really doesn't address the fact that this was a deliberate attempt by Walton to shill with alternate accounts. They shifted the blame to a rogue employee, when it was most likely management who probably authorized the whole thing in the first place.
Always have to blame someone else, I forgot what NBA player was caught doing something similar. They had made a side account to deal with the hecklers but one day forgot to switch from their main account. I doubt with Walton anything even becomes of this.
the damage is done.
i don't really hate the fact that an employee won. but they should not have tried to turn that into something positive.
now they lost about 20% of their value so let's hope they won't try to do something that stupid again.
Yeah I completely agree the damage is done. I rather someone accept they are wrong rather than play the victim and put a spin on it.
