Bitcoin for the long run?

Cryptocurrencies long term?

I say crypto and you say Bitcoin. Crypto - Bitcoin! Don’t get me wrong, Bitcoin is the most important cryptocurrency at this moment, but will it be in some years?

I’m a believer in cryptocurrencies, no doubt about that. I love all the new opportunities that comes up with all the new tokens. What I don’t believe in is every token is here to stay. I’m not saying Bitcoin will leave us but will it be the leading champion?

Bitcoin is great for peer-to-peer transactions, except that it can’t process fair enough amount of transactions that many other coins already have the capability of. Another flaw is that it has higher transactions cost than most other coins on the market.

What we do need Bitcoin to be, is the crypto leader. Think of it this way. A CEO of a company don’t know every process, he doesn’t know how everything is done. Put him on the floor and he would need help solving the job(there is always exceptions). What the CEO do know, is how you lead a team, how you get the most out of it. Get all the different parts in the company to a working unit. Bitcoin is our CEO at the moment. Bitcoin gets people excited and interested in cryptocurrencies, that results in more volume and development throughout the whole market.

I’m positive to Bitcoin in the short run (2- 3 years) but in the longer run it might not quite get there, just like Netscape 1.0 didn’t quite make it in the Internet era.

Bitcoin is the gateway crypto into the crypto world. And I’m thankful for that, since this world is mesmerising!
