I still don’t understand why cartel wants to loose money on this. Can't they make money and control crypto space at the same time?
They're NOT losing money on this. They're actually MAKING money. Think of it like gambling, that's kind of how trading the market works. They're making money everytime btc loses value by shorting the market. That's how people make money with futures.
