Shopping frenzy: Prepare for a crazy day!

in #bitcoin6 years ago (edited)

Today could be the most dramatic day in the history of cryptocurrency.

Today could be one of the craziest days ever seen in a free market situation in history. After weeks of dramatic up and downswings, the market is primed for a massive rally as family and friends gather for the holiday weekend.

Coinbase, the easiest and most popular on-ramp to crypto will likely get hammered today as hundreds of thousands of new accounts are created during family gatherings. Expect to see a ton of activity in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.

Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin prices, in particular, have been suppressed since the most recent recovery. But be prepared. We have been witnessing 20-25% surges and drops within a couple of days' time. Expect to see a large upswing today in these currencies that are available to the most casual of traders via Coinbase.

What could hold things back? The infrastructure of cryptocurrency just might not be ready for the kind of traffic that could be pouring into it today. It is like opening a two-lane highway and driving five lanes worth of traffic on to it. Expect Coinbase to have to suspend trading at some point.

As much as this could be very exciting, try to spend a bit of time this holiday conversing with and looking at your family and friends instead of just focusing on screens. That could be very challenging, indeed!

Huh for some reason your comment was greyed out and I had to choose to reveal it. I wonder why? You have been following me for a while so I don't know why it would obscure it.

I got downvoted. But its okay. I’m working to correct it and move on

How does one even downvote someone? I've never done that.

The flag on the right side of the screen on a comment. I’m not a fan of it really. But its there. I don think it should punish someone, i think it should be a marker for moderators or creators to go look at it and determine if rules were broken. But now you know my friend :)

K thanks for the info!
