Coinbase unavailable, when bitcoin price falls sharply
Coinbase always stops to work when bitcoin or/and ethereum are losing price! Does that seem fair to you? Looks like most of its users will change the platform, as Coinbase is just adding points of mistrust and doubt of their system. 
What about you? Do you trade your altcoins on Coinbase?
Yeah. It's very frustrating! They know they're doing it, and they know we know they're doing it. And we all know why. I'd move if I could find something better. I might move to poloniex or eToro . More options to buy too. We'll see.

That is the same thing as stock trading online or you buy real stocks in a bank. Trading online surely can be highly profitable, but hey, they can turn off their servers at any time. You have no power. While...if you have paper stocks - massive earthquakes, lava over the banks, or even massive flooding :D is no barrier, while you want to sell it. And servers of trading platforms can be turned off, no problem. You have the stocks in your hands. That counts. Same thing applies for physical silver and gold
This is crazy! Some other sites do this "strategy" too. In Mexico, Bitso delays your funds or the system doesn't work :/
Looks like, even with crypto-currencies you have to listen and comply to the biggest stock investor in the world, Warren Buffett! He says :"Be fearful when others are greedy. Be greedy when others are fearful." and "Risk comes from not knowing what you're doing." :)
Every time it really dips when i try to buy coinbase goes down.
but for me it is the easiest way to turn dollars into bitcoin.

I think more secure way to buy is bitcoin ATMs. But unfortunately, those are not in every town
Never seen one of these ATM's, hopefully will do soon!
I thought maybe it was because of a rush of people signing in to sell as prices drop.
It took some time for me to log in, but I'm leaving everything I have invested there. $50.00 loss so far, but I expect it to turn around. I'm thinking I might buy some more litecoin. If the gov is causing all the stir, that's a good indication to me to buy more...:)
well, all the major stocks are in the big bubble, and crypto-currencies also. You have to look at the trend and prices of cryptos are in the same position as the stocks in 1999-2000 (.dot bubble). But on the long run(when fake coins and coins with no real value will be deleted from the system ), crypto currencies have good chance to be accepted and used daily in our everyday life.
