RE: Tether Severs Ties With Its Auditor, Leaving Its Accounts Shrouded in Mystery

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Well, we´re already past the point of concern since Tether Inc. doesn´t let US customers redeem its tethers, however for practical purposes USDT still has the same value in the exchanges and that is unlikely to change soon. My reasoning is that since the United States Dollar(the fiat currency issued by the government) isn´t backed by anything, rather it´s "legal tender" and yet its doing just fine, USDT(the tether currency issued by Tether Inc.) should be just fine even if its just a legal tender too.
