How to get your Bitcoin Cash from a wallet like Blockchain.info

When looking to claim my Bitcoin Cash from wallets that don't support BCH/BCC I found a way to get mine and want to share this method with you. There are scammers out there who want to steal your private keys and BTCs but this method is legit. However there is still some risk as their might be bugs and I don't recommend doing this for large amounts of BTC.

1. You need the 12 word recovery phrase from your BTC wallet
2. For your safety send the BTC in that wallet to another wallet so funds are 0
3. Download the Electron Cash Wallet from http://electroncash.org/
4. Run installation and choose "Auto Connect", click Next, name your wallet and click Next
5. Choose "Standard wallet", click Next
6. Choose "I already have a seed", click Next
7. Enter the 12 word recovery phrase, click Options, select BIP39 seed, click OK, click Next
8. Click Next, enter a password to encrypt your wallet, click Next

After a few moments your Electron Cash Wallet should be synchronized and you can see your Bitcoin Cash balance. Your balance should be equal to the amount of BTC you had in the original wallet at the moment of the fork. You can now send your BCH/BCC to another wallet or exchange of choice.
