RE: 2. The Bluffer's Guide to Cryptocurrency - The History & Technology of Bitcoin - How and Why Bitcoin Came Into Existence

in #bitcoin6 years ago

This is an excellent initiative! for those who want an easier way to go deeper into this history of money and how the bypass of the gold standard made money now days worth absolutely NOTHING, check our the zeitgeist movies by the grand Peter Joseph: http://zeitgeistmovie.com/

and just as a P.s.: this is how the rich get ever-richer and the poor ever-poorer, because NOW money is created out of thin air (in the US by the FED and in Europe by the Central Bank) and that money goes into the pockets of the rich through a whole s*it load of bureaucracy and the inflation brought about to the markets by that FAKE creation of money creates inflation that makes the rest of the money worth less for everyone (bit of a rant I know, but every time I get into this topic it makes me sick how unfair the world is)

Thanks for stopping by and checking it out man! I appreciate the detailed response and no need to apologise for the rant :D I know it can be frustrating at times when you try to help people see the bigger picture but ignorance is bliss as they say.

I am not sure I fully agree with the sentiment about the rich getting richer and poor getting poorer. I think there is more to that than just printing money but it certainly doesn't help things. As I mentioned in the blog, it's effectively a piece of paper with a number on it.

Currency is basically just a number with a name given to it but I think the concept of UBI is really interesting.

This whole series is more just to help beginners understand the what, why and the how behind cryptocurrency. Whether they use it for "investment" or buying things is up to them but I want to help out those who are starting out :)
