• Due to the digital nature of cryptocurrency (and the relative 'novelty' of crypto), most people will do their research online

I guess one problem is also, the Google Trends data is not live is it?

What I can see happening this: when Crypto goes mainstream, people will get their information from various sources (like investment magazines), so the Google Trend prediction might be less clear / less predictable
