Two Brazilian football teams, Atlético-PR and Corinthians, have recently signed partnerships with Inoovi, a Hong Kong-based encryption company, which recently launched its "IVI" token specifically for the sport.

According to local news agency Portal do Bitcoin, Atletico-PR chairman Mario Celso Petraglia revealed the partnership this week, announcing it as an "innovation in the Brazilian sports market".

The partnership gives Atletico-PR a 12-month grace period to start using the IVI tokens and promote Inoovit by adding its name to the team's uniforms and website, while encouraging the team to use the token.

After the 12-month grace period, the club and the company behind him are ready to start using cryptocurrency in negotiations, pay salaries, and other expenses. Petraglia revealed that the club was paid for the partnership, but said it was enough to launch a promotional campaign.

He warned, however, that the cryptocurrency ecosystem was still in its infancy and asked people at a press conference to be patient, because not everyone understands how cryptosystems work. currencies. He added:

"The cryptocurrence has gained in value and we have no doubt about it.I, in particular, will be part of [those who] will buy this currency as an investment for my personal savings and will recommend it to everyone."

Asked about the potential benefits that the deal will bring, Petraglia said he intended to turn the club into using them. Inoovi's general manager and president Loïc Lacam, who was present at the press conference, added that the company will support the club as it begins to use cryptocurrencies.
It should be noted that Atletico-PR's lawyer, Marcelo Amoretty, revealed that Corinthians, another Brazilian football club, has already signed an agreement with the start of cryptocurrency. He added that some European clubs, including Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Shakhtar Donetsk, are negotiating with Inoovi but have not yet signed an agreement.

The IVI start-up token would have risen from $ 0.10 to $ 1.00 after the announcement, although it is not possible to find it on cryptocurrency aggregators like CoinMarketCap and CryptoCompare. Token holders will be able to use the IVI to access VIP rooms during matches, meet players, buy autographed gear and buy discounted tickets.

Inoovi's development comes as the FIFA World Cup takes place in Russia, where there are not many real possibilities to pay with crypto-currencies.
While the development of the crypto startup is notable, football influencers have entered the world of cryptocurrency, revealing this year that legendary player Luis Figo is the brand's ambassador for crypto startup Stryking Entertainment. In an exclusive interview with CCN, Figo revealed that he did not yet have cryptocurrence, after recognizing that the crypto industry and its companies were "very new".
