New survey data on the online market of student loans LendEDU suggest that younger US consumers are more interested in investing in bitcoin.
The startup published the results of a survey that was conducted online in August and attracted 1,000 participants from the United States. The survey was focused on a number of areas, including the main question of whether they heard about bitcoin in general. As it turned out, about 78% of respondents said they heard about him.

The results of the LendEDU survey are noteworthy in that young consumers aged 18 to 34 showed greater willingness to invest in bitcoin than older age groups.

35.9% of young people between the ages of 18 and 24 said they plan to invest in bitcoin - against 43.5% who said they are not going to do it. At the same time, 20.5% were not sure of the correctness of this or that choice. For the age group from 25 to 34 years, the indicator "yes" increased to 40.4%, with 31.7% of respondents in this group saying "no."

For comparison, just over 10% of respondents aged 45 to 54 showed an interest in investing in bitcoin. Less than 5% of those over 55 years of age also expressed a willingness to invest.

In a blog detailing the results of the survey, LendEDU wrote that these data predict the popularity of bitcoin among younger consumers.

Judging by these data, it can be argued that over the years young Americans will become more solvent, and bitcoin in the US economy will become more widespread, "the company said in a statement.
