Breaking News: Goldman Is Setting Up a Cryptocurrency Trading Desk !
Here we are ! Goldman Sachs is planning to set up a Crypto Trading Desk !
At least one of Wall Street’s biggest firms is growing more comfortable with cryptocurrencies.
It should run by the end of June and this is the first major WS firm to make this move.
Nevertheless, the firm is still trying to figure out a way to be a custodian of Crypto Assets.
Clients are really interested as the price of some companies saying to "work on blockchain or with cryptocurrencies" went up +2500% last week. (Even if most actually are not really doing so).
I just shows the appetite appetite of financial Whales and Investors for this type of assets !
Everything changes as the CEO was skeptical back in October
Publicly, Chief Executive Officer Lloyd Blankfein has been circumspect. He tweeted in October that his firm was looking at how to deal with bitcoin.
The bank began clearing bitcoin futures earlier this month and GS asked for a lot of collateral which made some clients chose another provider. It seems that the Bank changed its mind.
The business may be running by the end of June, two people say

"Winter will probably come" but it seems that this nice run has still some potential going forward :D
It was only a matter of time before the Wall Steet's biggest sharks joined the party. I willing to bet my left nut that most FX/commodities traders on Wall St. have been personally investing/trading cryptos since the start of the year.
Crypto really is the future. There will be modification to the technology as time goes on, but crypto itself will remain. Those who don't adapt to it will be left behind.

I think all big Wall Street Whales are thinking about Crypto Trading...but they are afraid to admit it...
