Erik Voorhees Doesn't Think BCH Is Bitcoin
In the middle of a Bitcoin Cash crusade which aims nothing less than appropriating the Bitcoin brand, Roger Ver had tweeted an old quote of ShapeShift CEO Erik Voorhees as a justification for the actions. However, the action didn't go as planned and the "Banking on Bitcoin" star made it clear which coin is the original one and deserves to own the name, brand, and image.
Mr. Voorhees' responses were spot-on, articulate, and direct, so that he wouldn't leave any room for interpretation. Bitcoin Cash isn't "Bitcoin", and the real Bitcoin isn't "Bitcoin Core" as the BCH propaganda suggests. Nevertheless, the usual trolls did intervene and twist the words around by giving them a higher conspiracy context (as in "he's only saying this because he's afraid of the BTC mob").
