Spend BITCOIN and still be NORMAL
It's 2017. I see all these recent videos and articles by major financial news outlets, ie CNBC, describing how difficult and expensive it is to spend Bitcoin.
I've been using Swift Visa Debit Card for a few years now, spending my Bitcoins anywhere Visa is accepted without paying crazy premiums. Am I a minority?
In the hope of helping others spend their Bitcoin more freely, I write this simple tutorial:
Step 1.
Have a Coinbase account and live here:
Step 2.
Visit: http://shiftpayments.com
Domain must be exact, as there are many similarly named sites. You should see the following image:
Step 3.
Sign up and understand the terms. The best part: NO FEES for domestic transactions
That's it!! You should receive the Visa card in a few days :)
Don't forget to have some Bitcoin balance in your Coinbase wallet before using the card~
