True, but the Lightning Network is coming and hopefully we will see a Coinbase (Commerce) Lightning hub. That way it would be much cheaper, and it would work perfectly for day-to-day usage.
And I believe Coinbase is now also Segwit integrated so that should speed things up a bit as well. Any updates on LN?
