Meet Bitcoineta: a van that will travel to Latin America evangelizing the population on crypto-coins
Argentina has been an important stage, particularly in 2018, for the worldwide crypto-coins industry. As shown by the exclusive coverage made by the Criptomoedas Fácil, the Latin American country, throughout the year, will host the G20 meetings, a multilateral group that has been discussing an international regulation proposal for the cryptoactive market.
And now, through the union of two NGOs, Bitcoin Argentina and Bitcoin Latin America, a van intends to travel throughout the nation and even to Latin America evangelizing the population on the benefits of crypto-coins and blockchain. The so-called Bitcoineta comes from the combination of Bitcoin with a van.
As the portal announces, the project is "non-profit and aims to build bridges between those who are developing technology (and understand it) and people from different social, economic and cultural ecosystems." As shown by the portal Infobae, the NGOs bought a van together and equipped it with everything needed so that it could leave the routes of Argentina and, eventually, of Latin America.
Bitcoineta left for its first destination, Chascomús, still in Argentina, on June 1, of the parking lot attached to Bitcoin Space, the bitcoiner "embassy", a place that operated as the project's operations center. Between June and July, the project will be in the Argentinean regions of Chascomús, Las Toninas, Tandil, Necochea, Tres riachos, Villa Ventana, Bahia Blanca, Pergamino, Junín, Chacabuco and Chivilcoy (Buenos Aires). localities, such as the provinces of La Pampa, Santa Fe and Córdoba.
