Robinhood- stock app is introducing zero fee bitcoin trading

The stock trading mobile app Robinhood, which has over 3 million users and valued at $1.3 billion, is now entering the crypto world. The app will start its crypto operations in February. But here is something, it has gained quite some attention already.
Robinhood is offering absolutely zero fee bitcoin trading of bitcoin and ether. Sounds interesting, right? But here is a little disappointment: This feature will be available to only 5 states in USA: California, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, and New Hampshire.
Even with a limited user access, it is going to be an intersting competition for Coinbase. Robinhood is also immediately adding charts and custom price alerts for 16 different coins: bitcoin, ether, litecoin, ripple, bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, ethereum classic, Zcash, dash, monero, stellar, lisk, Qtum, OmiseGo, NEO, and dogecoin.
